For 3 days we were caught in a snow storm on the summit of Mt. Fury, where our only source of water was melting snow. The stove we had with us was a Jetboil. I had never used one before (it was my climbing partner’s stove), but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled our desperate situation on the mountain top. It’s fuel and heating efficiency as well as simple design made it the ideal stove. Thanks to the Jetboil, we were able to keep hydrated as well as keep ourselves warm with hot meals and drinks. It really was essential in this unexpected situation. Jetboil will be my next backcountry gear purchase!

Crusing the Kissimmee River at 3:00am looking for Gators demands all of your attention. It’s a lot easier to stay focused and on your toes when you eat healthy meals. Most boats arent equipped with stoves or burners for cooking real dinners, and your often limited to cold sandwiches or snacks. Thanks to the compact Jetboil, we were able to quickly and safely boil water for Mountain House meals. 6 meals for 6 Dragon Slayers, cooked and cleaned up in under 20 minutes. Team Bighorn usually looses a few pounds during our Elk, Bear and Sheep adventures every fall. This year I bet we put a few on.

I have owned two Jetboil Personal Cooking Systems for sometime now but I used them for the first time during the power outage caused by Hurricane Ike. These things rock. I made coffee for ourselves and our friends and it was a nice treat when nothing else was working. Again thanks for a great product that exceeds my expectations.

I took my brand new Jet Boil on a canoe trip up into the Wabikimi wilderness area in Ontario this September. 4 of us made the trip and the other three were seasoned veterans of this trip. We hopped off a train and paddled and portaged for 6 days and 120 miles to the spot where we flew out. While the first couple days were decent, the last 4 were bone chilling cold with rain and /or snow each day. The Jetboil’s lightweight design, quick set-up, sure-lighting, and fast boil time were exactly what was needed in these tough conditions. While I had a backup, a single can of fuel did all of my cooking for the 6 days on the trip. I was eating or drinking something hot in minutes and easily a half hour before the other guys. Needless to say, the other 3 guys will be buying one for next year’s trip! It’s also perfect for ice fishing to prepare a quick hot drink or lunch in a small space like an ice shanty.

I recently climbed Southern California’s Mt Gorgonio. At 11,500 feet we rested for a lunch of soup and coffee. I was concerned that the elevation might come into play on this hike but my Jetboil roared to a boil in no time at all. This stove is the best piece of equipment that I own!

The PCS is in every bag I carry, both my hiking and my camera. As a location-based photographer, it is always great to have an easy cup of coffee at my side. The models love it too!

A couple of months back Jetboil generously donated 2 GCS to our hiking/camping club for the purposes of hiking to Havasupai Falls. Our trip was a huge success and the Jetboils were excellent.

I went on my first backpack trip in 25 years this last weekend with my son’s Boy Scout Troop 217. I bought the Jetboil before the trip. WOW! It is amazing. I am buying a second one for my son and I think several scout parents were heading for {a purveyor of fine outdoor gear}! Thanks for the great product.

I took my family (wife Julie son TY daughter Kayla) into the Eagle Cap wilderness for our only vacation this summer and we cooked solely with our JETBOIL system. We had coffee and hot cocoa and heated all the water for our Mountainhouse meals. I’ve also used it a lot snowshoeing in cold temps and it works very well we are very very pleased!! Thank You for a product that makes my family warm and cozy on the inside.

Joe ... a long distance rider

I started out with the GCS prior to my latest long distance motorcycle adventure. I then decided that I couldn’t live without coffee in the morning so I added a companion cup and coffee press. My riding buddy brought his white gas stove but after I prepared my first meal on the GCS his stove didn’t come out again. I prepared several meals that required from a full boil to low simmer. The stove was up to the task. We went 5 days on the road using the stove every morning for coffee and at night for whatever culinary delight we had picked up during the day and still have fuel left over in the container. I have now rethought my ability to cook on the road. It is so quick that lunch on the road can now be hot, and not from the road side diner!
