Guild, NH. (August 11th, 2005) – Jetboil Inc., manufacturer of the Jetboil Personal Cooking System,
is unveiling a highly efficient group cooking solution, the Group Cooking system (GCS) at the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 11-14th, 2005, booth #3900. The group cooking system will include a Jetboil burner base, 1.5 liter pot with FluxRing™ heat exchanger, integral and collapsible pot grip, pot support, and stabilizer. Like the original Jetboil, the new GCS is twice as fuel efficient as traditional camp cooking systems, and integrates cooking vessel, heating element, and fuel supply into one compact package. The GCS brings one liter of water to boil in about 4 minutes, and the complete system weighs in at 21 oz.

The GCS is intended for situations that demand greater capacity or cooking versatility. With the included universal pot support, additional pots and pans can be used with the GCS system. The 1.5 liter pot features a wide aperture for easy frying and simmering, and all components nest snugly inside the pot for efficient packing. As the new GCS and original Jetboil PCS share the same burner base, the systems are cross-compatible, allowing users to add components to each to create a customized cooking system.

The hard-anodized aluminum, non-stick coated 1.5-liter FluxRing™ enhanced pot will also be sold individually, as an accessory to the existing Jetboil PCS (Personal Cooking System) units, and weighs 13 oz. For light and fast travel, the pot and lid alone (without cozy or bottom cover) weighs in at just 10.5 ounces. Jetboil is the first to introduce a high performance cookpot with a snap-on plastic lid, a plastic bottom cover that doubles as a bowl for mealtime, and a neoprene cozy for hands-on cooking,

The GCS with 1.5 liter pot, burner base, pot support and stabilizer will retail at $99.95. The original PCS integrating burner base, 1-liter vessel, lid, measuring cup/bowl, and neoprene cozy will retail for $69.95, and the standalone 1.5-liter FluxRing vessel accessory will retail at $44.95.

Available components include the FluxRing™ enhanced Companion Cup at $29.95, Coffee Press at $19.95, and universal pot support and stabilizer at $14.95. The Jetboil GCS, PCS, and suite of accessories will be shown at the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow booth #3900.

“Jetboil responded to the demand to expand the original system with the companion cup, coffee press, and pot support accessories,” said Perry Dowst, CEO of Jetboil, Inc. “The GCS takes Jetboil’s efficiency and simplicity to the entire mobile cooking market, from one or two people on the trail to cooking for the clan around a campfire or on an experiential education course.”

“The final objection has been eliminated, as we’re offering another solution based on all of the very positive feedback we’ve received since Jetboil hit the market,” says Dwight Aspinwall, co-founder and president of Jetboil. “Extensibility is critical to our performance-driven users. With the current suite of accessories, Jetboil is not only the most convenient and efficient boiler on the market – it’s quickly become the multi-tool of the cooking category. Jetboil™ Personal Cooking System accessories further simplify and personalize mobile eating.

Guild, NH. (August 12th, 2004) ñ Jetboil Inc., manufacturer of the Jetboil Personal Cooking System, will introduce a line of travel and outdoor cooking accessories at the Outdoor Retailer summer market tradeshow in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 12-15th, 2004. In response to market demand, Jetboil will offer companion cups, a coffee press, and multi-colored cozies. A maintenance kit will also be available.

Jetboil, Inc. develops and manufactures micro-portable cooking systems that simplify and personalize mobile hot food preparation. The companyís initial product offering, the Jetboil™ Personal Cooking System (or simply Jetboil) integrates a 32 ounce vessel, heater, and fuel supply into one package, providing a highly convenient and efficient means of preparing a hot drink or meal. The PCS was introduced to the consumer market in 2004.

The Companion Cup is Jetboil’s solution to cooking for two or more, while keeping the system simple and efficient. Jetboil users can now prepare a greater quantity of food or hot beverages just by adding the Companion Cup accessory. The expandable system avoids the need for an extensive backcountry or mobile kitchen set-up with superfluous utensils or heavy add-ons. Each Companion Cup includes the 32 ounce vessel with integrated FluxRing heat exchanger, drink-through lid, and insulated cozy that has made Jetboil synonomous with efficient, hands-on enjoyment. Colorful cozies allow for differentiation between traveling partners’ cups. A camouflage cozy is ideal for hunters and fishermen seeking to reduce their visibility.

The new Coffee Press accessory was a natural progression for Jetboil’s Personal Cooking System, as a hot beverage is often the first order of the day. “We recognize that coffee is a year-round beverage of choice, and Jetboil is the quickest way to fire up the morning brew,” said Dwight Aspinwall, President and co-founder of Jetboil, Inc. “Our coffee press adds about an ounce to your Jetboil, yet makes coffee as good as you can find anywhere.” The coffee press accessory uses the French press method, which doesn’t require filters, utensils, or individually packed coffee steeping bags. Components disassemble to nest within the PCS, requiring no extra space. In celebration of simplified caffeination, Jetboil will be serving fresh-roasted Peet’s organic coffee at their Outdoor Retailer trade show booth, #4107, each day of the show.

A maintenance kit will also come to market, allowing Jetboil users the flexibility of adjustments while in the field. The kit includes a piezo igniter, jet, and o-rings.

GUILD, NH (August 8, 2003) – Jetboil, Inc. (formerly White Mountain Stove) has introduced its revolutionary Jetboil™ Personal Cooking System, a product which makes outdoor hot food preparation simpler, faster, and more efficient than ever before.

"Jetboil fills the divide between vacuum bottles and stoves with a product which integrates a heater and multi-purpose eating vessel into a single blazingly fast and fuel-efficient unit," according to Dwight Aspinwall, president of the company. Aspinwall, a former software executive, started the company with CTO Perry Dowst, whose background combines years of experience in consumer product development and manufacturing with new technology. Both founders are avid outdoorsmen.

Jetboil is ideal for outdoor activities where simplicity, light weight, and reliability are paramount, including backpacking, hunting and fishing, and boating. Jetboil’s integrated design eliminates the need for additional accessories like mugs, pot holders, pumps, and windscreens.

The unit merges butane fuel, heater, and a combination cooking/drinking vessel into one compact appliance that provides faster boil times and greater fuel efficiency than conventional component stoves and cookware. Patent-pending FluxRing™ technology enables Jetboil to boil water faster while using less than half the fuel when compared with conventional packable stoves and cookware combinations. This means faster meal preparation, less fuel to be packed, and the ability for individuals to carry their own unit to prepare meals of their selection at times of their choice.

Jetboil’s base contains a lightweight burner housed in a wind-protective shroud, a piezo electric igniter, and a fuel valve. The base burner is powered by 110 gram Jetboil butane fuel canister utilizing an industry-standard threaded valve. Heat output can be adjusted from a simmer to high output.

Base and one liter cooking cup snap securely together during use and along with fuel canister nest in a compact package smaller than a Nalgene® bottle, which can be stowed in pack pockets and fanny packs for easy access. At 12 oz. without fuel, Jetboil competes with the lightest titanium cooksets and microcanister stoves. Considering weight savings due to high efficiency, Jetboil is without rival for speed and low weight.

With its one liter capacity, Jetboil is ideal for personal and small-group cooking. The company plans future releases of accessories which extend the system’s functionality, including stand-alone vessels of various capacities and applications. These accessories will also incorporate FluxRing technology for enhanced cooking performance
