Discontinued Jetboil cozies may have future in footwear
Jetboil recently had a batch of discontinued cozies to get rid of. Instead of heading for the dumpster, we contacted Resurf, an organization that reprocesses surfboards and neoprene. They chip and pulverize the material into small chunks and then mix it with an organic rubber from the
guayule plant to make new mixtures of different types and densities for many new products such as shoes, sandals, yoga mats, surfboard deck pads, sport heating and cooling pads, etc. They are also working with design teams from the big surfing companies to come up with several new products. Resurf welcomes individual donations.
