Camping

Hills of Kentucky

I’m getting back into camping and now getting into backpacking. After seeing this stove demonstrated at a local supplier (The Trail Store), I was sold! I’ve used it now a few times in the hills around Kentucky and am planning on taking it out west on some trips. It’s so light and compact and boils water so efficiently. I often show it to friends and they’re equally impressed. I always carry it with me in my truck and I’ll never be in the outdoors without it again. I love it!

Thanks!

Jetboil conversion in Glacier National Park

I wanted to share with you my experience from a recent backcountry camping trip at Glacier NP. I led a group of six guys, including myself on a nine-day backcountry camping trip over 80 miles along the Northern Circle in Glacier NP. Two of us, myself and a buddy, have used the Jetboil to great success for the last two years. The other four used open flame, collapsible stoves. The weather was fantastic during our trip, but was pretty windy on at least three days. The Jetboil performed great getting water ready within a couple of minutes. The balance of our crew was using up their fuel supply quickly taking 5-6 minutes in the wind to get boiling. It only took a couple of days for everyone to ask “can I borrow your Jetboil”. By the end of the trip the four non-users were converted and will be getting a Jetboil. Thanks for making a great product! Mike Lancioni

Last summer my family and I visited Acadia National Park in Maine and camped for the better part of a week. The experience was one of a lifetime! I thought you would be happy to hear that during our stay we used our Jetboil to cook all our heated meals. My twelve year old son even mastered mac & cheese on a Jetboil - an essential for great camping. Thanks for your part in an enjoyable getaway.

I took my family (wife Julie son TY daughter Kayla) into the Eagle Cap wilderness for our only vacation this summer and we cooked solely with our JETBOIL system. We had coffee and hot cocoa and heated all the water for our Mountainhouse meals. I’ve also used it a lot snowshoeing in cold temps and it works very well we are very very pleased!! Thank You for a product that makes my family warm and cozy on the inside.

(Jetboil saves the day for a coffee lover)- “I purchased my first Jetboil because our son and I thought it looked pretty cool and the other white gas BP stoves were getting up in age. We were floored the first time we used it. Next trip, I took our daughter up to the Larimer River, northern central Colorado. Well, Dad likes his coffee- grind my beans by hand in camp and use this Coleman drip coffee maker… The problem was that that old Coleman stove died that morning. Caught in a sudden panic attack, I came up with the following solution… No more Coleman anything in this family. My next purchase will be the Jetboil coffee press”.
