Diane Van Deren, Yukon Arctic Ultra Race Winner

After being the first female American who just completed the Yukon Arctic Ultra Race, which is considered the worlds hardest, coldest, and most extreme event in the world, the Jetboil stove was a huge contribution to my success. I was running and trekking 430 miles in the Yukon Arctic in -40 degree temps pulling a 50 pounds sled with all my gear, clothing, and food. The Jetboil stove was a true survivor in the elements I endured and reliable for preparing and cooking meals in these kind of conditions. The Jetboil is so easy to set up and within minutes I had boiling water made from melted snow to make meals to warm and fuel my body to take on such an extreme event. I would recommend this stove to anyone who is looking for simplicity; efficient, light, and reliable to get you from point to point. Thank you Jetboil for an excellent product.

Team Nomad

Jetboil – that handy little stove ties for first place as the most important product in this race [Explore Sweden Expedition Race 2005]. At two different Transition Areas – when we were exhausted and hungry – we fired that up and within minutes the boiled water delivered some reviving dehydrated meals, which were a welcomed treat after eating 27 straight peanut butter & jelly sandwiches! I’m telling you, that stove . . . is perfect for supported (e.g., Primal Quest, Southern Traverse) or unsupported (e.g., Explore Sweden) race formats. [We] seriously will not go to another race without one.
