Hunting/Fishing

I was doing the Bow Trip in Jackman, Maine and had purchased the Jet Boil stove based on all the reviews and information I received on it. I want to let you know that your stove is a-one. It met virtually all expectations. Thanks for making the trek enjoyable.

I rarely write letters, but I found your product to be so good that I had to take a moment and thank you for an outstanding cooking unit. Last month I guided a fly-in hunt in Alaska. As with any hunt, weigh is an issue. This year I used all dehydrated meals. I decided to use your Jetboil unit as our only source for heating water and cooking our meals. It performed perfectly and not a meal went by that we didn’t comment about what a neat little cooking unit this was. We used Mountain House dehydrated meals. The combination of Jetboil and Mountain House meals provided us with delicious hot meals for seven rain soaked days.

The Jetboil is incredible. I took it on two day-long hunts and fired it up in some windy conditions – it never failed, and I didn’t have to worry about wet matches. I’m carrying this thing in the back of my vest from now on.

Doug Warren,
Having just spent 10 days on my annual bear hunting trip to Alaska I have to applaud you for such a fantastic product. We had 3 JetBoils between the 7 of us and all were used every day even though our base camp was a 60 ft boat. Their is nothing like a great cup of coffee on the beach in 40 degree weather while sitting waiting for a bear all day long. I spend an average of 3 months in Alaska every year both hunting and Fishing and I can say that the Jet Boil will accompany me on every trip from now on.I have been in the outdoor industry for almost 15 years now and I can’t remember when the last time something so innovative was introduced.

Crusing the Kissimmee River at 3:00am looking for Gators demands all of your attention. It’s a lot easier to stay focused and on your toes when you eat healthy meals. Most boats arent equipped with stoves or burners for cooking real dinners, and your often limited to cold sandwiches or snacks. Thanks to the compact Jetboil, we were able to quickly and safely boil water for Mountain House meals. 6 meals for 6 Dragon Slayers, cooked and cleaned up in under 20 minutes. Team Bighorn usually looses a few pounds during our Elk, Bear and Sheep adventures every fall. This year I bet we put a few on.

The PCS is in every bag I carry, both my hiking and my camera. As a location-based photographer, it is always great to have an easy cup of coffee at my side. The models love it too!
